EXTREMA Hard At Work On New Material
September 16, 2008After playing loads of shows around Europe to promote its latest live CD "Raisin' Hell With Friends" and the DVD "Murder Tunes & Broken Bones", legendary Italian metal band EXTREMA is back in the studio working on material for its next album, tentatively due next spring via Scarlet Records. According to a press release, "a demo with seven brand new tracks was recorded during the intensive songwriting sessions occurred in August and it's already clear that the next record will be heavier than ever."
EXTREMA's video for the acoustic version of the song "Another Nite" can be viewed below. Shot in various locations in central Italy, the clip was directed by renowed italian director Paolo Doppieri whose previous collaborations include well-known Italian and international artists such as ADEMA, ELISA, LINEA 77, ROY PACI and several others.
"Another Nite", which was originally included on the album "Better Mad Than Dead", was rearranged acoustically and released as a bonus track for the reissue version of "Better Mad Than Dead", which was made available on Scarlet Records as part of a reissue of the band’s entire back catalogue, from the mighty debut, "Tension At The Seams", to the latest CD, "Set The World On Fire", each LP containing plenty bonus material.
